$25 for course

Description

This is the final portion of the three-part series of courses on the core truths of biblical, Christian faith. You will cover topics like, justification and sanctification as you learn about God’s Kingdom and the role of the church in God’s plan.

Course Outline

Session 1

INTRODUCTION TO GRACE

Apart from God’s gracious initiative, people are wholly unable to save themselves from sin and death. Christ's work on the cross is of infinite value.

Session 2

CONVERSION, REGENERATION AND JUSTIFICATION

Conversion, regeneration and justification are significant when you are beginning a relationship with God.

Session 3

SANCTIFICATION

Sanctification is both positional, the once for all definitive dedication to God, and conditional, the progressive cleansing from sinful acts and character and deepening love for God and His ways.

Session 4

PERSEVERANCE AND SECURITY

God will never reject the believer. Not even Satan can steal a believer away from the love of God.

Session 5

CHURCH

It's critical to determine your definition of what a church is so you will know if it is accomplishing its purpose.

Session 6

AUTHORITY

The Bible is the sole authority for faith and practice. The organizational structure determines who has the authority to make decisions in a local church.

Session 7

GERRY'S PRINCIPLES OF POLITY AND SACRAMENTS

It's important for the leaders and people in the congregation to understand their roles in a local church so they can function together and be an encouragement to each other. A sacrament is a visible sign of an invisible spiritual reality. Ordinances are generally understood to be those things Jesus told us to observe with other Christians.

Session 8

LORD'S SUPPER, COMMUNION AND EUCHARIST

It's important for the leaders and people in the congregation to understand their roles in a local church so they can function together and be an encouragement to each other. A sacrament is a visible sign of an invisible spiritual reality. Ordinances are generally understood to be those things Jesus told us to observe with other Christians.

Session 9

DEATH

The Bible gives us insight into what happens to our spirit when our body dies.

Session 10

GOD'S KINGDOM AND MILLENIUM

The Kingdom of God is a theme that is mentioned throughout the Bible, and something that Jesus describes during his public ministry. The millennium is the time of the messianic kingdom on earth

Session 11

ETERNAL STATE

A discussion of how we will exist in eternity.
